Major Components of Parkview's Content Management Solution Delivery Process
- Requirements Definition: We work closely with your organization to gather and assemble all relevant wishlists, ideas, suggestions, complaints, nice-to-haves, gotta-haves, and initial priorities. We work with internal and external business stakeholders, managers, content creators, editors, users, and administrators to understand your content & document management needs and business processes, and exactly how they need to be changed or enhanced by the new solution. We present all this information in a streamlined document for review, requirements validation, and prioritization.
- Strategy: We transform your authorized requirements into a comprehensive strategy plan to define a solution that will effectively meet your needs. To do this we start with your successful in-production solution in mind and work backwards. This helps us envision a solution with all the capabilities, features and functionality, accessibility, look & feel, production processes, and platform for change & growth that your organization needs to succeed. We validate this strategy plan with your business stakeholders.
- Design: We use your approved requirements and strategy to define and document all the technology components and production processes required to bring your solution to life. This provides a detailed design specification for your solution, a project plan for getting it done, and a description of how it will be deployed and operated from beginning to end.
- Set-up: We set up, integrate, customize, and fine tune your solution using your authorized design specification. This may include content and/or data migration from other systems. We bring your key users and system administrators into the development process early on to get them comfortable with the new solution and enable them to test and comment on the features and functionality. We provide detailed status reports and conduct checkpoint meetings to make sure that everyone is on the same page.
- Implementation: We take the solution live with full capabilities in a private, secure environment. At this point the new solution can be deployed for in-parallel production or limited production use depending on your requirements. We provide all necessary training and documentation, and we work with you to define a test plan.
- Testing: We work with you to perform thorough system testing. We carefully document findings and make approved changes to any system components and processes as necessary.
- Service Delivery: Upon approval at the designated date/time we take your solution live. We work closely with you to support any internal and external communications relating to the new solution.
- Support: We provide the pre-defined level of solution hosting and production support. We work closely with you to monitor and report on solution usage, and we respond and help you react to any questions or problems relating to the new solution.
- Continuous Improvement: We work with you to define, document, and validate requirements for new features and functionality, graphical elements, or any other need you may have. We keep you informed on upgrades, enhancements, security issues and releases, available support resources, and more.
